Sort Laundry As You Go

Two marked laundry hampers.So as to run full loads only in my washing machine, which is most efficient, I keep 2 popup hampers in my bathroom closet. One has a little hanging tag marked "Lights", and the other "Darks". As I take off my clothes, they are put into the appropriate hamper. When one is full, I do a load of laundry.

Stuffed AnimalsMy two kids are stuffed animal fans. What I do to keep the zoo under control, is to use a colorful 15/20 gallon tote to put all the animals in. If the pile starts to overflow, I tell my kids it is time to give some of the stuffies to a new home.
