Please do not fool around with something like a leg ulcer! Get professional wound care at a hospital if you can. A doctor will refer you. This could be very serious!

This flower is called an amaryllis. It can be purchased in most gardening sections, especially this time of year. It is a large bulb that comes in a kit box, bulb, soil and pot.

How much do you have to spend? Hunters always need pocket packs for keeping hands warm.

I'd pick one of the colors from sofa that isn't green.

I assume the word you meant to use was striped stockings. Are they white and black stripes? I'm not sure you can dye them yellow because stockings are often synthetic and will dissolve in the bleach you would need to make them white first before dyeing them yellow. But if have white stripes, you could try fabric dye markers to make them black and yellow.

Sometimes the adhesive is there to keep the Velcro in place while you sew it. Check and see if it is permanent or not. It should say on the package. I agree that a product that removes stickiness like UnGu would work to remove the adhesive if it is permanent.

If there is a place near you where you can brew your own beer or wine, they will carry it. Failing that, try a bulk food store or a health food store. Most likely there are places online as well, google brewers yeast.

Looks like an earwig. The pic is a little unclear, but if it has pincers on each side of its head, it is. They favor damp and dark places and in my area sometimes come in on mail.

What kind of fabric are the valances made of? If they are synthetic, they will not take dye that is made for cotton. Perhaps a dye for silk might work, otherwise it may not be feasible.

If there is a belt driving the hand wheel it may be worn, loose or too tight. Perhaps it needs replacing.

Drink coasters would be good too. They wouldn't slip under damp glasses.

As a retired firefighter's wife, I always suggested calling your local fire department (the non-emergency number). They will answer most questions and may even come over to help you solve the problem. Sometimes they will supply a new alarm at a discount and install it for you. Never hurts to ask is one of my mottos.

2. Also if the inside of the alarm is dusty or full of cobwebs, it will do weird things like ring without the batteries. Take your vacuum to the open alarm(remove the outside housing) and give it a good cleaning.

3. Make sure the alarm is not hard-wired to the electrical system in the house with a battery backup. If this is the case, it will ring without batteries. 4. Finally, be aware that smoke alarms age and should be replaced about every five years depending on the brand.

Have the checked the spark plug? If it sparks it should run, unless the gas is bad. Check to see if its getting fuel and the fuel is clean. If not getting fuel, may need to check the fuel filter, which may need replacing. Check float in carb, if stuck, clean it and tap the float with your finger, raise and let it down to see if the fuel flows into the carb. Is the starter turning over? If not, may need a new starter.

chances are the socket where the light bulb screws into has probably had the little brass piece inside the socket at the bottom burn out. Replace the socket and while you're at it check the wiring.

The kill switch may be faulty or completely dead. There is one under the seat and one on the brake pedal. Replacing both switches is best.

Check under the seat for a safety switch, it may be stuck open or closed.
