Hand dishwashing detergent (if that is what you mean by 'soap') is made with ammonia, and the machine detergent, with chlorine bleach. Please do not mix household chemicals, the hand dishwashing liquid says on it to 'never add chlorine bleach' - but no one ever reads the ingredients on other household chemicals (if they have them) to find out what they are made of. Automatic dishwasher detergent has chlorine bleach in it, you can probably find an MSDS if there isn't any list on the product to check that fact.

Please do not combine any household products. Not even two different brands of conditioner (they're the 'same thing,' right?), my mom did that and the container burst from the chemical reaction.

There isn't any standard. Better quality sheets might have elastic the whole length of the edge. Very cheap ones might have very little. If it came undone, can you measure the piece that came off? That might not even work, if the new elastic is not the same stretch, it might be better to stretch both elastics and then measure. Or stretch the new elastic and measure it along the edge of the sheet where the old piece came off.

Not having a picture to go by, I can only imagine, but I would say that any earth tone would probably work just fine. Brown or tan or beige (matching the walls is always okay), or if you want more color or contrast, go with some muted green (a sage or greyish green might be great) or even a burgundy (echoing the cherry tone of your existing furniture). You could pick up paint chips and match one of the colors in the fireplace, that would also work well.

If you want to be particularly bold, you could go with black, as you have black furniture, and black seems to go with pretty much anything. I hope this helps.

If your efforts are not fruitful to return the grey parts to their white color, you could buy some white bias tape and cover the trim with that, or any similar white fabric would work, as well. If it is trimmed with larger pieces (perhaps even an entire collar or pocket), you may have to remove the trim and replace it, proceed according to your own sewing skills, or have a professional make these replacements.

Failing that, you can find fabric markers in department stores and fabric stores, and they come in black, generally, so you should be able to use one of those to cover all the white/grey trim with black color that way. It may take several applications to make a dark enough color, and to make it come out even, but you should be able to make it work. It may also require re-application after washing.

Finally, I would be tempted to just leave it and wear it as is, as who could tell it wasn't supposed to be grey in the first place (unless it is really uneven)?

Recipes & instruction cards for Tupperware, unsure of your brand:

http://www.hipp er-recipe-cards/

Their site also has some other microwave manuals listed at:

http://www.hipp -manual-library/

Search the page for 'microwave' as it's a long list.

I hope one of these resources helps you. Otherwise, you may search for your brand name, product name, and 'manual' - there seem to be manuals available online for lots of things.
