If you really want to go with glass, hit up garage sales, frames are always cheap there & usually ugly so I just keep the glass for a nicer frame & dump their frame. I do this to get the non-glare glass for my frames.

Great idea! You can also put dryer lint in the tubes, works great too.

Thanks for the helpful hint! I always did the stock with giblets but thickened it with flour & then spent an hour or so trying to get rid of the flour taste! From now on I will buy the Tone Turkey gravy mix!

I also use the hair ties, great idea. Also use a napkin ring on the window curtains over the kitchen sink. Single ones can often be found in mark down bins in just about any store.

I use them on a curtain when the window is open & it's breezy, it keeps the curtain from flapping. No more stuff getting knocked off the table/dresser by the curtain & possibly getting broken.

Try some baking soda on a sponge & a little elbow grease. Works for me!

100% Shea Butter works for me, not the foo-foo ones with a scent added to it.

My husband cut a thick piece of wood into two pieces in the shape of the letter "J" & attached one to each side of the window with the "u" part of the "J" facing outward to hold the rod. He also stained them to match the rod. The size of the "J" would depend on the size of the rod. Hope this helps.

I agree with "perfumed fan", it works for me. You can even find smaller funnels at the dollar stores, that's what I use on some of the smaller bottles. I believe they came in a 3 pack of different sizes.
