Rainbow Over the Falls! (Niagara Falls, NY)
We celebrated 37 years of marriage by going to Niagara Falls, NY. It was a beautiful sunny day and we took a picture of the fall. We visit this site every year on "our" day. We were amazed at the two rainbows!

Wildlife: Beautiful Cardinal on a Foggy Day
I saw my first cardinal this year, when we put out our grandson's new birdhouse. A beautiful sight to behold! Maybe the red birdhouse may bring more cardinals to our yard. My grandson sure hopes so.

Craft: Spring Wreath
Wreath for a touch of spring to match my country blue hallway. I took a heart shaped straw wreath, approximately 10 inches in size. I added some greenery and put them on with straight pins.
My friend and I lived in Vancouver, Washington many years ago. We use to talk over the fence about life, kids, husbands, problems and etc. and the primroses below us heard everything.

My daughter and I took him out one night and the snow was gently falling and the night was perfect. So, I showed him how to make one and then he made his first Snow angel and it came out perfect. Just had to share!
In Memory of Obie (Chocolate Lab)

Air Out New Shower Curtain Before Hanging
We bought a new plastic shower liner, used inside fabric curtain. You should not hang up in the bathroom, as it gives off harmful chemicals. So what we did was hang the liner in the outside garage for 10 days.
Craft Project: Three Surprise Hearts
My husband purchased 3 hearts (4x3 inches) at a craft shop. He knotted them all together with a fancy knot (Sapajou). He put our names on them and surprised me by hanging them on our kitchen door!

Have Friends Bring Cookies For Wedding Shower
At my daughter's shower, I wanted homemade desserts. So when people asked how they could help, I asked them bring 12 homemade cookies. Some of them brought more and I was given fancy trays with doilies.
Successfully Replanted Rose of Sharon
We always had bad luck replanting others free give-a-ways to us. My daughter gave us this Rose of Sharon tree and we talked and watered daily and guess what? Success and a beautiful plant from her yard to mine.
Pin Cushion Holder
Pin cushion holder that resembles an ol' fashioned Easter hat. Cover 6 inch round circle with plain fabric and glue in middle-flatten. Take tuna can, add stuffing cover with printed fabric, make sure fabric is flattened underneath and glue to 6 inch circle.
Soap Holder Purse
I made these decorative soap holders for my daughter's shower. Kind of resembles a purse. Start with two different colored face cloths. Place white in middle rolled in together.

Repairing a Burn Hole in Carpet
My son burned a hole in our carpet. I took my vacuum and an old panty hose over the wand with a rubber band and then proceeded to vacuum the carpet.
