Couch PotatoFuzzball decided this was his couch. We bought it at Big Lots for porcelain dolls but as he was the boss of the house, it became his. He had a bed in every room so that he could be near us. He got hit by a car just after 9/11 and we miss him dearly. Our pets are wonderful to enjoy while we have them :)

They want to eat whatever we are eating. They love spagehtti, ice cream, waffles, pancakes etc. There isn't much that they won't eat. They also talk and can be quite vocal at times!
RJ (Beagle Mix)This is our baby, R.J. He is a 7 yr. old Beagle mix. We got him 6 years ago from a newspaper ad for free after my husband and I both had lost our pet dog companions of many years.
Tiger (Orange Tabby)Tiger is a Orange Tabby. I'm guessing he is about a year old. Someone dropped him off at the park behind my house. We tried to find his owners for over a month before deciding that we were going to keep him no matter what. I'm allergic to him, but I wash my hands ever time I touch him and that somewhat helps. He loves to hide behind the furniture/corners and jump out on us and my big dogs! He also loves to knock the alphabet magnets off my fridge and zing them around on the kitchen floor when we are trying to sleep! His favorite toy is a piece of paper that I shape into a ball!

PB&J Helps Medicine Go DownA spoonful of PB&J helps the medicine go down. When giving a pill to a dog that doesn't like taking them, try putting some peanut butter and jelly on a spoon and hide the pill in it. Most dogs love peanut butter, and the jelly helps it slide down.
Bogey (Long Haired Dachshund)Bogey (Bogart) is 4 yrs old. He is my dachshund black and tan long hair. We got him from a breeder in Connecticut that we became friends with! He has a squeeky chicken leg he likes to play with. My son likes to get him to play!

Pluto (Terrier Mix)This is Pluto. He is a rescue dog that we brought home from a kennel on Father's day this year. The kennel told us he is about 2 years old and a terrier mix. He had been abandoned at a school near the kennel and they had him about 4 months before we got him.
Nellie (Pomeranian)This is Nellie. She's a 2 year old pomeranian that we rescued from a breeder who let her dogs, um, follow nature and thus got unpopular dogs. Her dogs didn't sell and when the rescue agency came in all the dogs were in really sorry shape. When we got Nellie from the rescue agency she was really subdued.

Save on Cat ToysDon't spend a lot of money on cat toys. They seem to love the cheap ones better. Aluminum foil in a ball works as a cat toy.

Give Each Cat a TowelThe best pet tip I've found with cats is to get a couple of small towels - one for each cat. Rub the cats with their own towel, then give it to the other cat to sleep with and get used to each other's scents.

When she catches him breaking a house rule she snatches him by the ear and gives him a shake. She also will drag him to the door if she thinks he's going to mess in the house. This photo was taken while she was teaching him not to chew on the furniture.
Skittle Katherine (Katrina Rescue) -...Skittle Katherine is a 2 year old Pacific parrotlet. We adopted her after hurricane Katrina. She was running around in New Orleans and a friend found her.
