Penguins at Woodland Park Zoo (Seattle, WA)For my grandson Moses' first birthday we took him to Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. He was so fascinated with the aquarium and the penguins, we had a hard time getting him away from the tanks.

Scenery: Cross Of LightI got a new camera and have started taking pictures of sunsets. I tried to get a picture of one through my boys upstairs bedroom window, and this is what I got. We used it at both of my husband's parents funerals in their slide shows.

The Gemini GirlsUpon discovering my close friends and I all had 'Gemini' birthdays in the 6th month of the year, we became 'The Gemini Girls'. We have used that excuse for years to get together for breakfasts, shopping and whining about husbands sessions.

911 Memorial Made by ChildrenThe young children, on this day, September 11, 2010, made a tribute memorial to the twin towers and to the people who lost their lives on 9 11. Our cat, Tiger, liked it so much, he decided to take a cat nap on it.

 

Scenery: Jet Stream 9/11 TributeMy living room and patio face the direction of our small airport here, about fifteen miles away from my home in Richland, so I often see takeoff jet streams from the planes.

AMA Fundraiser: Climbing for GrandpaPictured is my dear daughter Melissa who participated in the American Lung Association's Fight For Air Arena Climb in Wilkes Barre, PA, in memory of my dad and her grandpa who recently passed away from lung disease.
