Michael Jackson costume

Michael Jackson CostumeWow, this was hard to do, I can't lie. This is Michael "Drackson" (as my son calls him). We used DVD videos to sketch the make of the jacket. We bought a 60's style costume and used the little black leather jacket pattern.

A recreation of the Christmas Story flagpole scene.

"A Christmas Story" Photo CardWe love the movie "A Christmas Story". So last year we decided to pay tribute to the scene the boys love best, which is where one kid dares the other kid to stick his tongue to a frozen flag pole. I used my photo software to change the picture to black and white and frosted the edges. The caption on the card read "WE TRIPLE DOG DARE YOU TO HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS". Everyone loved it!

Jars of candy.

Easter JarsThese are little Easter jars. The first was filled with preserves and the other with spaghetti sauce. I got a dollar stamp from Michaels and some spring paper and made these jars for Easter for the grandkids.

Refurbishing GourdsLet your fall gourds dry after October and Thanksgiving use. Clean and paint back to what they looked like when they were first used. You will have gourds for years to come to use with out rebuying.
