Provide More Detail When Asking Questions?This is for all the people who are asking questions about their items value or even what the product might be. Please take detailed photos: not just the side of a table but the top and underneath, not just view of a bed with sheets on it but take the sheets and mattress off. Look for and take pictures of the manufacturer if you can find it and/or serial number. Take pictures of details that could make a difference in the answer, although sometimes it may be near impossible to get a good picture. Explain what you have with measurements, color, age, how it has been used and possible age or at least how long you have known it.
How To View All Tips On ThriftyFunI just learned how to view all the posts on Thriftyfun. Click on Menu. Look under Browse and click on All By Date. You will see a screen with a calendar at the top right-hand corner. Click on the highlighted dates and see what was posted on that date. It goes back to September 2000. Lots of fun to see.

Holiday Bonus for Christmas CraftsGet ready to share your creativity this holiday season. We are excited to announce our holiday bonus program for Christmas or holiday craft submissions. We are looking for instructions for making wreaths, ornaments, centerpieces, stockings, and decorations of all types.
Contest and Bonus ChangesRecently we have been receiving far more submissions than is usual and our editors have had to make some hard choices about which submissions to keep. Because of this, we are announcing some new changes to our photo bonuses and contests. Garden Photo ContestAs of May 1st, we are switching our general Photo contest to focus on Garden photos. Send pictures of your spring flowers, yard improvement projects or wildlife from your garden. All will be shared in our Gardening newsletters as well as will be eligible for our monthly prize.

Where Are My Newsletters?We have received many emails asking where the daily newsletters have been this week. There have been circumstances out of our control that delayed them. We should get them sent as soon as possible. All of us at ThriftyFun apologize for the delays and hope to be back on track soon.

Problems with NewslettersWe've received a few complaints about problems with the new format of the newsletters. One person has Vista and cannot read the html format but a few others are having similar problems running XP. If anyone has any ideas what might be happening, and how people can correct the problem, please post below.
