Using Buckets Under DownspoutsMy husband never got around to setting up a rain barrel system under our downspout, so I decided to take matters into my own hands. I set out several 5-gal. pails, a large plastic garbage can, and even my wheelbarrow along the ground, in a line, directly under the garage roof edge.
Saving Money on Irrigation?I am looking for ideas. We just got our water bill and although we have had more rain than normal our 1/2 year water bill was a whopping $600. I believe it is our irrigation "system".
Rerouting Downspout Water?I'm tired of a puddle at the end of the downspouts. I am wondering how to remove the pipe that goes to the ground and attach something to the gutter that lets the rain out in sprinkler form or a mister would be great.
