Preparing Sweet TeaIn this sweet tea, the lemon has been infused and is very refreshing. I attach my three tea bags to the side of the pot with a large black paper holder and put it on the handle of the pot. When the water begins to boil I just place the tea bags in the boiling water. After the pot has been emptied is easy to remove the tea bags from the pot.
Pineapple Peel TeaPlease don't toss out your pineapple peels! Make some delicious teas with them instead. That's right, the peels and scraps from your pineapple fruit make fantastic tasting teas that are also packed with antioxidants and enzymes with anti-inflammatory properties. It is said to also help with joint pain and arthritis.
Mint TeaI was anxious to try this since I am growing mint. I was not disappointed! I halved the recipe, so I only filled my jar halfway. I also used stevia instead of sugar. Stevia is twice as sweet, so only half as much is needed. However, I wrote the recipe as it was originally written.
