Inconsistent Automatic Buttonhole Completion?My Singer Heavy Duty 4452 sewing machine is completing a seemingly random amount of each buttonhole I try to sew. Toyota AD860 Needle Case Error?Hope someone can help me out. I have an older Toyota AD860. It was in the middle of switching needles then got a needle case error. I knew it was moving to #12 so I moved it, still had issue I found the sensor ring on the shaft was loose so I tightened it. Now I think it is not sure where it is at. Singer Tension Discs Assembly Order?Hi, I got a Singer 6212c SM with tension unit, like the one shown in your picture. I am having upper tension problems and seems I misassembled the tension unit. I used to see just 2 discs in my featherweight machine but this model has 3 discs, 1 plain plus 2 curved as in most Singer machines. I think the plain disc goes in between, in contact with curved sides of the other 2 discs, Am I right or there is a different configuration?

It was working just fine and then when I went to do a zigzag stitch, I noticed it wasn't right. I took the machine apart, cleaned it VERY WELL, which it wasn't bad to begin with, but a good cleaning always helps, except in this case.

Frozen Janome Sewing Machine?I had not used my Janome 7500 machine for several months. Then when I took it out to sew, it would not turn. After moving the wheel by hand using a fair amount of pressure, it moved then I was able to use it. My husband then cleaned it out and greased some of the moving parts and all was well. I have now tried to use it after leaving it for a few months and it is completely frozen.

What happens is the bottom stitch comes up, but the top stitch doesn't penetrate the fabric. Vintage Kenmore 158.1040 Wheel Slipping After Oiling?I have been cleaning up and oiling this vintage machine, and it was sewing pretty decently. There was still a catch somewhere, so I was pretty liberal with the oil, trying to locate where it was sticking. But after loosening off the clutch now the wheel is slipping and not turning consistently. It stops, I turn the wheel by hand to get it going, and then it stops again.

Machine Only Sews Forward When Pushing Reverse Button?I bought a vintage Japanese badged Singer zigzag machine. It sewed beautifully, but I couldn't get it in reverse. So I removed the stitch regulator button as this is part of it, to see if the reverse button was frozen. When I put it back together, now it won't sew forward unless I hold the reverse button. The feed dogs don't move unless I hold it in.
