Duck Won't Sit On Her Fertile Eggs?I have 2 ducks; 1 male and 1 female. She laid a total of 16 eggs and then sat on them as well. After a period of 15 to 18 days, 3 of her eggs finally hatched! :) Today is the 3rd day since all 3 eggs hatched, but she won't sit on the rest of her eggs. Sad Female Muscovy?Good morn. What can I do for my 2 year old muscovy (Milly)? Last year, Milly and Mortermer (other muscovy) both had clutches. Milly hatched 2 out then throughout the day, Mortermer stole the rest of her eggs and would not let Milly anywhere near them. I had to fence Milly with the other duck. Mortamer was getting vicious. It was very sad, you could tell which ones were Milly's. Anyhow since then, Milly has changed a lot. She seems very angry and does nothing but quack all day, wants out of the yard at the crack of dawn and waddles herself down to creek and takes everyone with her. Is there anything I can do for her? She's not my happy go lucky Milly. We did keep one of hers thinking it might help but no. It was her first clutch and Mortermer's second.
