Wine Stain on Table Cloth?I have a giant wine stain on my favorite tablecloth. Bleach Stains from my Washer are Driving Me Nuts!i need help. Every once in a while (more lately) when I do a colored load of wash clothes will come out with what looks to be a bleach stain on them. I have already lost a few shirts and some nice pants and I cant figure out whats doing it. I very rarely use bleach and I know I didnt spill it. I seperate the clothes and follow the lables. I have never used a spray like shout before now. I found one at the dollar store, and it worked on a stain that wasn't that old, but did not work on older stains.

Sheets Have Little Balls of Lint After Drying?Help. I have sheets for my daughters room (disney) and it seems that in (one area only) the sheet material has balled up and is rough to lay on. I know that if it had lint I would take tape and go over the area and that would remove it. But does anyone know the best way to remove these little balls from the sheet without damage.

Making Sure Clothes Are Really Clean?Hi. I wondered if any other readers have any ideas for making sure that their laundry is not only washed, but also disinfected. I had been using cold water and detergent for colors, and warm water for whites--until I began working at a local hospital. I want to make sure that I'm killing any harmful microorganisms that are on my clothes when I get home. I have started using hot water with bleach for my whites, which should help--but can anyone give me any tips for colors (what water temperature, best kind of detergent, etc.). Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Clothing Pills?For some reason, I seem to have an incredible ability to develop pills on my clothing. What causes this and what can be done to eliminate it or at least decrease it? Sometimes I get pills within just a few wearings!!
I thought that perhaps it was our water, as it is somewhat hard, but then I noticed that some of my clothes had pills down the front and back, but not on the sleeves! I've also noticed that some types of clothing/fabric pills faster than others. Is it the brand or the type of fabric used?

Ironing Stain?I need information on how to clean a 100% cotton blouse that was ironed with an iron that was too hot. The blouse is white with these instructions: "Machine wash separately in cold water. Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary. Tumble dry low, warm iron. Homemade Laundry Soap Blunder?I just made my first batch of laundry soap (fels naptha, washing soda, borax combo). After sitting for 24 hours, it didn't gel up like it should have. Whites Just Came Out Yellow!My son just took his whites out of the communal apt. washing machine and they came out yellow. He says that they are evenly yellow and one shirt has two dime sized orange spots on it. All that was in the wash were undershirts and a white pair of pants. I've trained the kids to religiously empty their pockets before washing. He also checked the machine before starting. I told him to simmer down, not do anything and to wait for my email to tell him what to do and would ask here. How can we fix this expense catastrophy that neither of us can afford to replace?

Cleaning Smelly, Musty Suits?I am in a profession where I have to wear a suit everyday and often sweat in them. Despite taking them to various dry cleaners, using febreeze, and even using my industrial size steamer, I cannot get rid of the musty, smelly, bad smell.
