Blanket.

Taggie Baby BlanketSometimes the perfect gift is right in your own home. I re-purposed the best parts of a flannel nightgown, a fleece throw, and a satin pillowcase (all of which I already had) to create this "taggie" blanket for an upcoming baby shower.

Baby with cloth nappy.

Washable Cloth NappiesI made all my daughters nappies from old t-shirts, towels, or off cuts of flannel fabric. They all close with Velcro. As she's is now potty trained, I'm making training pants from fleece fabric.

Baby footprint and poem to frame.

Baby Footprint and PoemI found this footprints poem on the Internet. I did a foot print of my daughter's foot, then once it dried, scanned it into the computer. I then used a graphic program, added the poem and pasted the footprint.

Zhen's Rattle Cube

Zhen's Rattle CubeI made this for my daughter when she was a few months old, and started to hold things and begin listening to sounds.

Homemade Baby BooksSince babies get bored with everything too soon, this is the best way to engross them (4-16 months). I cut attractive colorful pictures of almost anything from magazines or newspapers and then just put them in sandwich bags.

Fleece Baby Blanket

Fleece Baby BlanketThis is a fleece blanket made from 2 different patterns put together (right side out.) 1-1/2 yds each.
