Bag Made from Vinyl RecordsI made this bag from two vinyl records.
Making Market Bags from Old T-ShirtsI know that most stores sell cloth bags to reuse for groceries, etc., but you can make your own with a bit of cutting and sewing. Take an old T shirt and lay it out flat on a table. Cut off the sleeves at the armhole seam and scoop out the neckline.
Bluejean BagTake an old pair of bluejeans and lay them flat on a table, using some heavy scissors cut both legs off right at the crotch area. Now turn jeans wrong side out and then take them to your sewing machine and sew across the legs closing the cut off area.
Denim Heart PurseRecycle those old jeans into a Valentine's Day denim heart purse. Here is the link to the free pattern information.
Jean Pocket PurseThis is a purse I made for my 7 year old daughter and her friend. I used an old pocket from my husband's old jeans. Carefully cut right along the edge of the pocket. You can use "Fray-Check" on the sides to keep it from raveling later.
Record Sleeve PurseThis is my version of a record sleeve purse! I used clear vinyl with pleather background. The pleather (vinyl) is easy to use since the edges can be left raw (like polar fleece).
Cookie Pack HandbagsUse cookie packs to make handbags, this is great for kids to use, for storing your shopping receipts, etc. I have used the 2 packs back to back and belting material.
Purse from an Underwire BraThis is an old underwire bra. I got the idea from another site and made my own.
