Grandma's Hot Cocoa Mixrich and chocolaty full of flavor, my kids love this. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Keep in an air tight container.
GloggA Christmas time drink in Finland. With a vegetable peeler, peel few thin slices of the zest of a thoroughly washed and brushed orange. Scald and peel almonds.
Non-Alcoholic Wassail Turn the crock-pot on high and pour in the apple and cranberry juices.
Stir in the sugar and allspice, then add cinnamon sticks. Stud the
orange with the cloves, about 25 or 30 cloves should do the trick,
and toss it in.
WassailCombine ingredients in a saucepan. Place over a slow flame; then, before it begins to boil, take off the heat and whip up some cream. Let this float on top of the brew like foam.
Spiced TeaTie the tea bags together . Set aside. Bring the water to a boil in a large saucepan. Add the spices and sugar. Boil for 5 minutes. Add the tea bags. Remove from heat; cover and let brew 5 minutes more.
Hot Buttered Cinnamon Cider
Perfect for adult Halloween party! In slow cooker, combine apple juice, apricot nectar, brown sugar and allspice.
Peanut Butter Cup CocoaThe combination of the peanut and cocoa is perfect! It's simple and easy to make also.
Hot Mulled CiderPut all ingredients in crock pot. If desired, tie whole spices in cheesecloth or put in tea strainer. Cover and set on low for 2-8 hours. If spices are loose, strain before serving.
Friendship Tea MixCombine ingredients as listed. Package for gift giving. For 1 serving, combine 1 tablespoon of mix and 1 cup hot water in a mug.
Hearth-side CiderIn a large saucepan, combine juice or cider, water, allspice and cinnamon; bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
Sugarless Hot CocoaMix all ingredients. Use 2 tablespoons to 1 cup hot water.
Easy Hot Chocolate MixMix altogether well. Use approximately 3 heaping teaspoons per cup. Use boiling hot water.
Mulled Apple CiderCombine in large heavy pan. Cover and bring to a boil; then simmer 15 minutes; strain. Garnish with orange slices. Makes 1 gallon. Serve hot.
Gift Mix: Russian TeaThis makes such a nice gift for the holidays, especially put in a pretty jar with the recipe and mixing instructions on a nice little card and ribbon! Or, you can buy a nice cup, put some of the tea in a plastic bag, and give it wrapped in colored cellophane and a bow!
Country Spiced TeaWith the chilly weather starting to spread over our country a nice hot cup of Spiced Tea is just the thing.
Hot CocoaBlend cocoa and sugar in a small bowl. In a medium pan, heat milk to scalding. Mix about 1/3 cup of the hot milk into the cocoa and sugar and make a thick syrup...
Warm Mulled CiderUsing a vegetable peeler, peel the zest from the orange to create long strips. In a medium pot, bring the cider, honey, allspice, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, and orange zest to a simmer.
Hot ChocolateFill cup with 1/3-1/2 full with mix. Add hot water.
Hot Sweet Apple CiderPlace over low heat until steaming hot. Pour into cups and place a piece of stick cinnamon in each cup. Delicious with hot buttered popcorn.
Hot Wassail TeaMix juices, water and brown sugar together in percolator. In percolator basket, put spices and salt. Perk for 15 minutes. May be refrigerated and reheated.
French ChocolateCombine chocolate and water. Cook 4 minutes, stirring constantly over very low heat. Add sugar and salt, return to heat, and cook 4 minutes more. Cool and fold in cream. Put heaping tsp. mixture in cup and fill with hot milk.
Mulled Grape CiderThe perfect drink to serve at an evening party. This warm cider is easy to make and delicious.
Spiced Apple SimmerIn 5 qt. Dutch oven, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer 20 minutes. Remove spices; discard.
Hot Cranberry CiderIn Dutch oven, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low, simmer 30 minutes. Discard spices. Serve hot.
Hot Spicy Cranberry PunchLet simmer a little bit and then strain out the spices. Just before serving add 4 cups of brewed tea. The tea should not be too strong. Everything, with the exception of the tea, could be made up ahead of time and heated, adding the tea just before serving.
Strawberry Shortcake Hot Milk DrinkRecipe for Strawberry Shortcake Hot Milk Drink. In a small saucepan, combine milk, syrups and sauce over medium-low heat, stirring well to incorporate the strawberry sauce. Be careful not to let it boil.
Molten Chocolate Cake Hot Milk DrinkIn a small saucepan, combine milk and syrup over medium-low heat, stirring. Be careful not to let it boil. Pour into glass mug.
Apple Pie A La Mode TeaRecipe for Apple Pie A La Mode Tea. Prepare tea as usual (with tea bag and boiling water), add Coffeemate and sweetener. Top with Reddi Whip.
Ooey Gooey Caramel CocoaRecipe for Ooey Gooey Caramel Cocoa. Dissolve cocoa in 6-8 oz hot water, stir in caramel and top with whipped topping. One could use regular instead of fat free products in this, either way it's yummy!
Caramel Apple Cinnamon SurpriseRecipe for Caramel Apple Cinnamon Surprise. Dissolve cider mix in 6- 8 oz mug hot water. Stir in caramel and add a dash of cinnamon. Top with Reddi Whip. I add a drizzle of caramel to the top of my whipped cream.
Hot Spiced Apple JuiceAdd spices to apple juice in saucepan; bring to boil. Strain into heated glasses and serve.
Maple Hot ChocolateIn a large saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa and salt. Stir in hot water and butter; bring to a boil. Add the milk, maple flavoring, vanilla and 8 marshmallows. Heat through, stirring occasionally, until marshmallows are melted.
Mulled CiderMix all ingredients and simmer 2-5 hours. (Great in a crock pot)
Hot Caramel Spiced CiderThis is one of my family's favorites. We make this every year during the holidays. The cider is good with or without the caramel and whipped cream.
Easy and Good Lemon Honey Drink for Sore ThroatsVery soothing when you have a cold or sore throat.
Hot Lemon DrinkBoil 8 oz. of water and place in your coffee mug. Add 1 large slice of fresh lemon to the mug. Add sugar and/or honey as desired. Really warms the tummy on a cold winter day. Enjoy.

Mix Your Own Cinnamon Vanilla Hot CocoaBuy a packaged quality cocoa mix approximately 4-5 weeks before you plan to use it. Place it in a canning jar. Add a vanilla bean or two, ground cinnamon and sugar mixed to taste. Replace canning lid and seal tightly.
