This is a refreshing summer dessert that I have made time and time again. This can be made ahead if you are planning on company.
Combine sugar, salt and water, and heat to boiling. Boil 5 minutes. Cool. Add pineapple, milk, and lemon juice, mix well. Freeze.
Fruit and Yogurt Ice Cream Treat
Easy, refreshing, and will keep well in the freezer for about a week should you decide to double, triple, or quadruple the recipe.
Put sprinkles on plate. Heat chocolate chips in skillet, stir until melted. Cut peeled bananas in half and poke Popsicle sticks into cut ends. Spread chocolate onto bananas and roll in sprinkles.

Strawberry and Kiwi Yogurt Freeze
Place fruit in shallow dish. Freeze 3 to 4 hours or until firm. Place frozen fruit in food processor bowl with metal blade. Cover; process 15 to 20 seconds or until coarsely chopped.
Frozen bananas, the children love these for a treat. Cut the bananas into pieces and put on wooden skewers. Dip in chocolate sauce then dip into chopped nuts.
Frozen Banana Orange Push-ups
Peel and slice bananas in a blender or the work bowl of a food processor fitted with a metal blade. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and process until foamy. Pour evenly into 6 small paper cups and freeze.
Frozen Lemon Squares
Mix the graham cracker crumbs and margarine together. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9 inch square pan. In a large bowl, with an electric mixer, on medium speed, beat the yogurt and lemonade concentrate together until it is well blended.
Chill a tube pan (like for angel food cake). Line bottom with 2/3 cup flaked coconut. Using 1 quart each of 5 sherbets, line the first with lemon, and freeze 30 minutes.
Peach Cream Freeze
Combine all the ingredients, adding Cool Whip last. Freeze the mixture until firm.
Frosty Strawberry Squares
Combine first 4 ingredients in bowl, mixing well. Spread in 9x12 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes, stirring to crumble. Combine egg whites, sugar, strawberries and lemon juice in large mixing bowl.
In a medium saucepan, combine dry pudding mix with the sugar and milk. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full rolling boil. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Pour into popsicle molds and freeze until firm. Makes about 10.
Creamy Juice Pops
Stir boiling juice into Jello and sugar in medium bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Add to Jello, stirring until slightly thickened. Remove any remaining ice.
Tropical Frozen Yogurt Dessert
Beat all ingredients in large bowl. Beat on low speed 1 minute, scraping bowl constantly. Then beat on medium speed about 2 minutes or until creamy.
Frozen Cherry Salad Loaf
Drain fruits. Let cream cheese stand till room temperature and then beat until fluffy and blend in sour cream, sugar, and salt. Fold in fruits, marshmallows, and pecans.
With summer almost here, I found some really good but healthy refrigerator pops for the kids. It took a while to dig them out but I did and thought I would share them with you! I hope your kids enjoy them.
Delicious Strawberry Freeze
I have made this recipe a million times and I just had to send it in. It is quick and, if you love strawberries, you will love this! I do!
Pink Arctic Ice
Mix softened cream cheese with sugar and mayonnaise. Add cranberry sauce, pineapple and pecans. Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla.
Boil sugar and water together for 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and cool; then strain. Freeze. This mixture gets very hard but can easily be beaten smooth in a blender before serving, if desired.
Combine crackers and margarine. Press in 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 7-10 minutes. Combine pudding and 3 cups of milk and blend. Add ice cream; blend.
Whip cream. Mix remaining ingredients and fold in whipped cream. Freeze.
In a microwave-safe bowl, sprinkle gelatin over water; let stand for 2 minutes. Microwave on high for 40 seconds; stir. Let stand for 2 minutes or until the gelatin is dissolved.
Frosty Chocolate Mousse
Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl and mix until mixture mounds softly. Spoon into dessert cups and place in freezer for 2 hours.
Pumpkin Snow Cookies and Cream Ice Cream
Last night I discovered that I could make quick "Pumpkin Snow Cookies and Cream Ice Cream" from our shaved ice machine ! Here's the 'from memory' recipe I used.
