I'm a twenty-something living in Metro Detroit trying to make the most of my dollar everyday. Growing up, I had a mother that knew how to pinch pennies using coupons, sales, garage sales, gardening and even garbage picking!
Now I find myself part of a generation of excess that I refuse to conform to. By thrifting and DIY-ing, I'm trying to make a better life for myself and appreciate each and everything I have.
