Taking a Puppy from it's Mother?
Hi Laura, I have to agree with Jackie. V. 8 weeks old is the ideal time to take a puppy from its mother, no matter what the breed.

Taking a Puppy from it's Mother?
Hi Nick, The ideal age to take a puppy from its mother is 8 weeks no matter what the breed. Any earlier and you can risk health problems, too much later and you risk behaviour problems.

Flea Treating Mother Dog with New Pups?
I once used teatree oil mixed with water to help a two week old flea ridden abandoned kitten with great success. I would be reluctant to use commercial products at such a young age.

What Mix is this Dog?
I think you could be right. Is there a ridge down her back? Dont forget that German Shepherds come in a colour called sable and looking at your pup this could be a possibility. Id like to see another picture when shes about 6 months old.

Looking for Birman Kitten?
Try your local cat fancy or look up the breed on the internet, even if you find someone that breeds a different type they can probably help you.
