Making Tote Bag Handles?
Take a piece of fabric about 4 inches wide by however you want long. Put right together and sew long side and one short end. Then turn inside out using wodden spoon handle or some thing. Sew other short end shut. Then sew some rows the long way. Done
Pre-Washing Quilt Squares?
You can also put your squares in some water in a salad spinnner and then dry. It works.
Sharpening Scissors
It also helps to take a stainless steel needle (a regular sewing needle or sewing machine needle) and rub it on the blades of scissors. This helps with nicks in the scissors.
