Boric Acid for Killing Roaches?
I took off the electrical outlet face plates and squirted boric acid into the openings around the outlet. It falls down onto the floor inside the walls where roaches hide. Replace the face plates and the kids/animals are safe.
Hang Soap At Outdoor Spigot
Thank you. The last family gathering we had was in a state park so they had faucets where we were. But, the soap came in handy as we had a bunch of little ones who needed good hand washes before we ate. I left it hanging there for the next group.

Fantastic idea! Sometimes, I use the large plastic coffee cans to take food to pot lucks. You can decorate them easily and if you dont get them back you havent lost much.
Keeping Birds Off My Car?
Paint the underside of your carport roof blue. Dont know why it works, but it does. Also, hang some old CDs from the ceiling with string or fishing line. The flash of the light on them as they twist and turn scares the birds away.

When I had little ones, I used a cup of laundry detergent and a cup of bleach in a diaper pail of water to soak the diapers (nappy). Then I just ran them through the regular cycle in the washing machine using no additional laundry products.

Container for Laundry Lint
I love the idea of putting dryer lint in a coffee can. I had been using a large trash can that always seemed to be in my way, so now, its out with the big trash can and in with the coffee can! I cant believe I hadnt thought of this before. Thanks!
