Sooty Smoke from Gas Log Fireplace?
My husband works on gas heaters. You probably need to have the heater cleaned. Mine was sooting up some, especially noticed on ceiling and he took it apart and cleaned it real good. Dont try this yourself, you need to call a service man.
Use Heating Pad When Letting Dough Rise
Instead of using heating pad, I cover mine with clean dish towel and put in oven. Preheat at lowest setting and then cut off and keep the light on.
