Knitted Scarf Curls and Rolls Inward?
My mother-in-law, an expert knitter, told me that to avoid this problem, slip the first stitch of each row onto the other needle instead of knitting it. Worked like a charm for me! Something about those mothers-in-law.
Cleaning Dirty Hardwood Floors?
It depends on the finish on the floors. I have been told to clean mine with a vinegar-water solution but I cant remember what the finish is as it has been 20 years since they were re-done.
