I think it might be a sweet pea but Im not sure. It just looks like one to me.
What Breed is My Dog?
Check your dogs feet. If they are webbed (kind of like a duck) you have a mostly lab. I have a cross lab/pit and his feet are webbed. They are water dogs (well except for for mine). He loves to drink water but he doesnt like to play in it. LOL
Phenix (Horse)
Phenix is a beautiful horse. He looks so proud in the first picture with his head held high. He is gorgeous and so is the scenery. Thanks for sharing.
Painting Tips
I would like to add another painting tip. Always have a damp rag when you paint. It can clean up, drips, runs or mistakes, like getting paint on the trim or a window etc. I always have a wet rag when I paint and it helps to keep things clean.

First of all, your dog is very handsome. I think he is a black Lab mix. He looks a lot like my black Lab mix. Great dogs.
Use Parchment Paper For Baking Cookies?
I have used parchment paper for baking cookies, cooling fudge etc for years. The cookies seem to bake better and more evenly. You can use the same sheets of paper for several batches and you never have to wash cookie sheets again. I would be lost without parchment...
