Saturate the ink stain with hair spray. Wash, but do not dry until the stain is gone. Repeat if necessary.

Spot Shot! That did it for me. My favorite pants and blouse ended up with huge ink stains. One was a blotch the size of a quarter and the other was a 4" swoosh, about 1/4" wide. I'm a never say die kind of person, but I resolved to give myself a break and trash them both. I did, last night. Today, another pen was dripping ink on my white washing machine. Not my week! Anyway, I found this website recommending Spot Shot. I pulled my clothes out of the trash--the stain was 48 hours dried.

The Spot Shot started working immediately. My shirt was red so there was a little bleeding, but all that is left now is a shadowy hint that there may have once been "something" there. My pants were a subtle check, and it looks like that stain is gone too with no color damage. In the process of rinsing them both now. Guess I'm back to believing it's always worth a try!
