I need to price these dressers to sell. Can you tell me the value of each dresser? They are Leslie Diamond designed for Conant Ball bought in the 50's.
I've hung onto this table for many years. I bought it at a Flea market post divorce and it served me well for a few years. Then it got stored and moved and its time to find it a good home.
I know enough to know it's a great brand and built well. Where do I start with it's value given the stains? Is it worth trying to restore before selling?Hi, I was at an auction a while ago and purchased this rocker for no more than 30 dollars. It is a smaller rocker, the right size for my preteen grandson to sit and play his video games. I was dusting it and happened to see the circled CB mark which I really didn't pay much attention to.
I was sitting here today and just kind of looking at the chair and decided to see what I could find out about the chair. Which brought me to your site. I see many rocking chairs made by Conant and Ball but not this particular one. Can you give me any information about this rocking chair. It is smaller but not a child's rocker, Windsor in shape but it has a support bar in the middle. Thank for your anticipated response.
I recently inherited a Conant Ball pedestal table. From all the pictures I found online, it appears to be completely original. I'm trying to find an approximate value in case I want to sell it.
It came with two leafs as well. Thank you.Hello, curious what year this hutch is from and if $150 is a good deal? It's at our local Salvation army in Iowa. No. 12 Ancestor in maple.
Age is probably in the 60s.
You can find hundreds of this Early American-style country hutches listed for sale, but most seem to be slow to sell. and the ones sold are mostly selling for under $100.

$150 may be a good price in your area but it would be high for most of Florida.
If you like it, then try to bargain or pay the price and enjoy it.

I have what I believe is a Conant Ball desk that I bought at a yard sale years ago because I liked its style, not knowing anything about the furniture maker. Because we have now downsized and not knowing its value, it has been in our garage for a few years. My husband has always wanted me to get rid of it and I almost donated it.
It is in pretty good condition with little damage except for some cosmetic issues that I think can be refurbished easily. My question is, how can I determine if it is a genuine Conant Ball? I have attached two pictures; one of the desk (in my garage) and the other is of the logo in the drawer. At this time, because of its location these are the best pictures I could get.
Thank you for any information. If you believe it is genuine, I will certainly try to fix it up and I would like to sell it.
I look forward to your response, Carrie Allen
It does appear that your desk was made by Conant Ball.
However, just having a well-known brand name on an item does not make it valuable.
You only provided one picture of your desk, which is never enough to try to place a value on almost anything.
You mention 'refurbished easily' and that may be true if you're refurbishing it for yourself or as a 'garage desk' but certainly not if you're expecting to sell it as a medium-high value Conant Ball desk.
Refurbishing a desk like this would mean a complete overhaul of the desk by someone that does refurbishing of similar items several times a year. It is not an easy or quickly done job. It also means replacing missing or flawed trim in same wood as original.
Also, the top is supposed to be a 'desk top' and that would mean the top should be very smooth; no nicks, or holes, just a smooth writing surface.
I was given a side table years ago and my teenage son had utilized it to place his lamp and what not on it for years. It no longer matched his decor in his room and he no longer wanted it. I had no use for it and was going to put it on the side of the curb for someone to take for free until my husband brought it to my attention that the markings on the bottom of the table could be a vintage piece.
I have personally never heard of Conant Ball furniture before. It is a very unique table in great condition. I believe everything on it is original however I am no expert on this type of thing and have no history on it. I of course have tried to search on Google but never found a table like this. I am hoping someone could help me on finding out if this table is worth keeping.
I would need more pictures to be able to describe your table but I do not believe you have a genuine Conant Ball table.
I'm not sure if the top is Conant Ball as i believe their work was more refined - nothing sharp but smooth curves like this:
Looking at the board attached to the top, the bottom of the table does not seem to match and the pedestal and foot stand is not Conant Ball style and the wood does not seem to match.
My personal opinion (from judging by the pictures (which are not really good enough to make a judgment) I think the only thing genuine Conant Ball is the board attached to the table. It's also possible they have used 2 of the 'feet/stand' but placed in an awkward manner.
I would like to mention that some sellers place items on several different sites and do not always have the same asking price.
Example:
This table is listed on eBay for $160 plus shipping.
www.ebay.com/
The seller has the same table listed on Etsy for $498 p;us a higher shipping cost.
I hope that I'm mistaken, and maybe another member will provide more accurate information.
You have a Conant Ball side table, model 4102, number 7010. It could be called unique, but I found another identical Conant Ball side table model 4102, but with number 16038:

The Conant Ball Furniture Company was founded in the late 1800s, in Gardner, Massachusetts and closed in 1980. I think your table is from the 1970s or 1980s.
Conant Ball furniture prices can vary depending on size, time period and other attributes. Just clean it up to make it shine. I think the price is $150-250, although it could be higher, people like rare pieces.
