Total Time: 15 minutes

Yield: 8 inch square pan

Source: My sister-she can't remember where she found it.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (16 oz) chocolate fudge cake frosting
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Steps:

  1. Butter an 8 inch square pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. Put chocolate chips in a microwavable bowl. Partially melt in your microwave. This should take from 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  3. Stir in can of frosting and continue melting in the microwave until the mixture is smooth. I do it in 20 second increments. Stirring after each 20 seconds.
  4. Remove from microwave and stir in vanilla, salt, and nuts if you are using them.
  5. Pour immediately into the prepared pan and let set. If you are in a hurry you can put the pan in the refrigerator.
  6. After they have set, cut into pieces and enjoy.
