I have used cut up potatoes to remove any kind of over seasoning. You could try that. Also a secret with home cooking soups and stews at restaurants is to not stir past half of your pot ever. The burned stuff will stay in the bottom and not move. Hope I helped.

If you have "emailed" your sauce and only got the bottom burned on while checking email, gently pour what is still liquid into another pot, add hot water to the burned on pot and let it sit. It will soften. No need to get nasty and scrape with metal. After an hour or two it will all come loose with a wooden spoon.

With the salvaged sauce, add 2 drops of oregano oil, stir and heat. Nobody will notice that it had it's bottom singed.

With so many reviews saying the peanut butter works, it was worth a try to save the sauce that I otherwise would have thrown away. IT REALLY WORKS!
