Garlic BreadsticksThe best thing with bread is that when you aren't able to consume all of it you can just transform or upgrade it in any way you want. I have plenty of leftovers from the New Year's eve. I didn't want them to get wasted so here's what I did.

Ingredients:

  • leftover sliced bread
  • butter (softened)
  • garlic
  • iodized fine salt

Steps:

  1. Grate garlic clove.
  2. Grating garlic
     
  3. Mix it well with the soft butter.
  4. mixing garlic and butter
     
  5. Brush butter and garlic mixture into both sides of each sliced bread.
  6. brushing bread with garlic butter
     
  7. Slice into strips.
  8. cutting buttered bread slice
     
  9. Sprinkle with fine salt.
  10. sprinkling Garlic Breadsticks with salt

  11. Bake over 180 C for 15 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
  12. toasted Garlic Breadsticks
     
  13. Enjoy!

In a large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, yeast and salt. Add 2 cups warm water. Beat with electric mixer at low speed 30 seconds, scraping the sides of bowl constantly.

Beat at high speed 3 minutes. With spoon, stir in as much remaining flour as possible.

Thaw dough, but do not let raise. Spread out on lightly greased 15x10 inch jelly roll pan. Spread melted margarine on bread and then sprinkle on the seeds, bouillon and cheese.
