They make a solution to move stubborn dried marker from the wipe boards.... it smells like straight rubbing alcohol.
Try that.

me and friend were playing around with dry eraser markers and we made a stain. we tried using a wipe, but it made it worse. then we used nail polish remover and got

I just had this same problem & I dont have rubbing alcohol (which I read on here as a good solution). So believe it or not, I used boiling hot water & a toothbrush & it got it out fairly quickly!

I was shocked. There was a slight hint of color left behind so I tried then rubbing the spots with nail polish remover. I dipped the toothbrush into the nail polish remover & scrubbed the rest up
