We are having a cold snap, with temperatures around 19. Cats love being cozy, and I love covering Bailey up in crochet squares. He always falls right to sleep. He is almost a year old and spoiled rotten, the way any cat should be ;)
She is a female kitten 2 or 3 months old given to me by my aunt today. I named her Emem. She is Siamese x puspin.
The whiskered companion you see as the subject of this photo is a cat named Fish. Now, Fish is not commonly known for being a mischievous cat. However, despite his lack of mischief Fish can still muster up a good bit of curiosity for the world around him.
Tigger is a 9 year old Orange Tabby. We found Tigger through an animal rescue. He was so excited to get out of the cage and just hugged and licked our necks!
Seymour is 1 year old cat that came to the door hungry. He likes to watch birds and jump on leaves. He has lots of fur!
Leo is 6 going on 7 and an orange tabby. I got Leo last October. A lady from church had a tragic fire at her place. She needed to find a temporary home for her cat and dog. I got word of it and offered to give her cat a loving home for as long as needed.
Goko is 8 years old. I got this cat from a relative that found him half out of a tied trash bag in the middle of the road with 5 others that were dead. He was just a kitten then.
Yoda is an 11 years old orange tabby cat. In 1996 a neighbor of mine gave him to my family and I because she was having a baby and felt that Yoda needed to be with a family that wasn't focused totally on a new baby but could spend plenty of time with him
Slick is about 3 years old and is a large yellow tabby. Slick was a stray that made his home under our car in Florida for several months before we moved back to WV.
Peanut was a 2 year old Orange Tabby. My aunt was fighting cancer and her son brought home a stray cat. Little did they know, she was pregnant. I got Peanut from the litter. He wasn't the one she had picked out for me, but he picked me when I went to pick up my new kitty!
Ned - Barn Cat. Ned is a 6 month old Common Barn Cat, fleas included. I got him from a box at the flea market next to his more lovely white brothers and sisters to be given away.
Tiger is a Orange Tabby. I'm guessing he is about a year old. Someone dropped him off at the park behind my house. We tried to find his owners for over a month before deciding that we were going to keep him no matter what. I'm allergic to him, but I wash my hands ever time I touch him and that somewhat helps. He loves to hide behind the furniture/corners and jump out on us and my big dogs! He also loves to knock the alphabet magnets off my fridge and zing them around on the kitchen floor when we are trying to sleep! His favorite toy is a piece of paper that I shape into a ball!
