A person adding soap to a washing machine full of clothes.Before laundering clothing, close zipper, snap naps, fasteners, and button buttons. That way your zippers and fasteners won't snag other clothing.

Closing all fastenings - buttons, zippers, etc - before washing will help the article retain its shape. Do the same every time you hang or fold them as well.
