We drink a lot of hot tea during the winter. To kick it up a notch, add a couple spoonfuls of powered sweetened drink mix (we use the Aldi version of Kool-aid). Our favorites include raspberry, cherry and orange. They are also good added to iced tea as well.

With the chilly weather starting to spread over our country a nice hot cup of Spiced Tea is just the thing.
Boil 3 cups water and 1cup sugar until sugar is dissolved. Add cinnamon sticks and whole cloves, pineapple, orange juice and lemon juice. Boil 5 minutes. Add 6 tea bags and 1/2 cup sugar and steep 10 minutes. Put in gallon container and fill with water.
Combine ingredients as listed. Package for gift giving. For 1 serving, combine 1 tablespoon of mix and 1 cup hot water in a mug.
Combine all ingredients, except boiling water, in a large bowl, stirring well. Store mix in an airtight container.
Tie the tea bags together . Set aside. Bring the water to a boil in a large saucepan. Add the spices and sugar.
Mix all ingredients and store dry in air tight container. Add heaping teaspoon or more (to taste) to cup of boiling water
Mix all ingredients together and store in tightly closed jar. Serve 2-3 tsp. in a cup of boiling water.
