When I get the urge to shop and don't want to spend a lot of money, I go to the dollar store. It's a great way to squelch the urge and I can get a few inexpensive items that I usually need.

Ladies, we all love smelling good and treating ourselves, but why break the bank in the process? Back in January, I went to Bath and Body Works semi- annual sale where they basically have all their fall and winter scents on major clearance while gearing up for spring.
Don't be fooled by packaging. I ran out of Eucalyptus Essential Oil, so when I went to Walgreens, I did not see the brand I previous purchased. Instead, I noticed this new brand called Guru Nanda.
Some of the best ways I've personally saved some money has been through these things:
While watching a Vietnamese cooking show - this gourmet fried onion pieces from Trader Joe's was being featured as a garnishing touch for a noodle dish! Many Asian dishes do use fried onion pieces for optional garnishing so this is a time saver!
We live in the age of 'Hype'. And we have for so long, the plain unadulterated truth would probably sound strange to us. Even the adjectives we use cannot be taken literally. Have you noticed things that have no weight now come in tons? 'I spent the weekend at the beach and had tons of fun'.
One of my biggest shopping tips is to always price check items. You might be surprised at the price difference at times.
I was at Walmart around the kitchen section and passed by the coffee mugs. There were tons of them, and I decided to take a picture so I could go over them in detail later.
Do you verify the tags of items you are purchasing? You should! Because, sometimes you can come across an outfit you like but a belt is missing, or the top, bottom. If you do come across anything "missing" in your outfit or quantity of some product, chances are you will get a further discount!
Years ago, I read an article suggesting the "need, love, or want" rule when making purchases. This has worked well for me and I'd like to share my experience.
This is a page about tips for price matching. By shopping with merchants that have a price matching policy you can save time and money.
