Pork Chops and Rice Recipes

Pork Chops and RiceLeftover rice and browned chops. I wasn't sure how this would turn out since it was what I call a throw together, but it was delicious.

Ingredients:

*You can make rice if you don't have any leftover

Directions:

In a very hot skillet brown the chops in a bit of oil. 2-3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

Turn the heat down to medium cook the onions until caramelized, using the butter, 5-10 minutes.

Meanwhile, place the leftover rice and soups into a large bowl. Add the milk and stir well.

Place the rice into a 13x9 inch baking dish and spread out evenly.

Place the chops on top of the rice, top with caramelized onions.

Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F.

On the no peek pork chop recipe, I want to use around 12 thin tenderloin slices and my rice is usually a little crunchy even being cooked for 2 1/2 hours. Will adding more soup, milk, or butter keep it less crunchy but more creamy?

You are cooking it too long. Brown rice takes 45 minutes, and other rices takes as few as 20. Instant rice is 5 minutes. Read the package and follow the directions.

Season chops with salt and pepper and brown in skillet. Sprinkle rice around chops. Combine boiling water and soup. Pour over chops and rice.

Cover skillet, reduce heat, and simmer until rice is tender and chops are not pink, approximately 45 minutes.

Salt and brown pork chops. Add 1 Tbsp. uncooked rice for each chop and 1 Tbsp. extra. Add 2 cups diced celery, tomato soup and water. Cook slowly for 1 hour.

Brown pork chops in shortening. While pork chops are browning, heat the remaining ingredients in a pan. Line casserole dish with pork chops and pour heated ingredients over them.

Bake at 325 degrees F about 2 hours.

This is a great Pork Dish. You must try it. You can also substitute the pork tenderloin for boneless skinless chicken breasts. I have made both and they are awesome.

In skillet, brown pork chops on both sides. Season with salt and pepper. Place rice in 12x8 inch baking dish. Pour orange juice over rice.

Pour mushroom soup over all. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 minutes.

Heat oil in skillet. Add chops and cook until browned. Add soup, milk and 1/2 package salad dressing mix. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 10 minutes, or until done. Sprinkle with paprika.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Wipe chops with damp paper towels. Slowly heat large, heavy skillet until hot (about medium high). Brown chops, about 10 minutes on each side.
