I just became a real estate agent and am looking for suggestions on a business name. My first name is Alexandra and I wasn't sure whether to use it or not.
In my area, if you use your name, you use your last name, too. It's professional.
My husband and I are starting a real estate business to buy, sell, flip, and owner finance residential properties. We are looking for a catchy name. Our business is based in Texas.
Something like Texas Down Home Real Estate Empire
or Texas Flip' Em (sort of a pun on 'texas hold em' poker)
Businesses that deal in real estate have professional names. Use your real names.
We are realtors Brenda and Brenda and are looking for a name that might incorporate two Bs so that our logo could be two Bs in some type of script font.
Here are some B words you might find helpful:
"beautiful, built, building, balance, balanced, beauty"
I like the Beautiful Balance or Beautifully Balanced.

I'm sorry, but I don't have any imaginative ideas for you. Most of the real estate businesses in my area are simply the owner's last name followed by "Realty." We have Moody Realty, Bass Realty, etc. Then there is one with the name of the town followed by realty, and then a few with names like"Landmark Realty," "Town & Country Realty" or "Lake Realty."
I'm not fond of ones that are too specific, like Lake Realty, because they do not just serve the area near the lake. The ones including last names are actually the easiest for me to remember, because the ones which are more imaginative end up seeming just sort of random. I just looked in our phone book and saw that I had remembered most of the name ones, but did not remember most of the clever or inventive ones.
If your last name is appropriately memorable enough, and there is no other realty company nearby with that same name, it seems to be a good one to use. It might seem like a good idea to get really creative with a business name, but some businesses have such creative names that they can actually be hard to know that service it is they render, and difficult to recall... and you want people to immediately think about your business when they think "real estate."
I didn't want realty in my business name, so I use Real Estate. Also, people can't or won't say realty or realtor correct. They put the "a" in it as in Realator or Realaty and that drives me crazy.
My husband and I are starting a real estate company, buying homes, remodeling homes and putting them back on the market. All of our homes will be affordable to all to enhance the American dream.
We also plan to finance some individuals who might have difficulty securing a home loan. What should we name our real estate business? My name is Carolyn my husband's name is Kenneth.
