Many Blesssings! I had cartridge ink on my hands. I tried rubbing alcohol it didn't work. Bleach took it off instantly. Make sure you dilute and wash hands afterwards. Thanks again. 9/1/08

Jackie, Thank you so much for your suggestion to use bleach. It worked GREAT!! I had tried several other things but none worked. Your idea was wonderful. Thank you

I used a Clorox disinfectant wipe, and it came off instantly as well. It must be the bleach...

Thanks a million for this hint!
Been printing off my Cv before dashing off to an interview and low and behold I needed to change a printer cartridge. And just to slow me down further, I got ink over all my hands

Luckily I googled and found this great site. Used Milton as that was one of the first things I could find, and it did the trick.
Gave me lovely white nails too!
Win win!

Try hairspray, rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer.

Try scrubbing your hands with white toothpaste and a nail brush. Works for me.

I've found that hand sanitizer works to remove ink from pretty much anywhere!

I had great luck with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It worked when nothing else would.

I tried the hand sanitizer, nail polish remover, but the thing that worked the best was the full strength bleach on dry hands. Rubbed it in and voila it was gone. Wash your hand thoroughly and lotion after words.

Bleach is the best! tried hand sanitizer (no luck), polish remover (no luck), then read the bleach comment and as noted. Voila! Don't waste your time, grab the bottle of bleach from your laundry and do the damn thing

Removing a supposedly empty inkjet cartridge, I got black ink on my hand and down my bare leg to my feet. After reading about quite a few cleaning techniques, I tried my favorite sink and bathroom cleaner, Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser (26 oz liquid in gold bottle - be SURE to SHAKE IT!).

I applied it using a surgeon's scrub brush (Anchor Cub Scrub), the best brush I've ever found ... small and perfect stiffness and lasts forever. The ink came off like it was just dirt.

I got black ink from a printer cartridge on one hand especially (ugly stuff!). I used Clorox bleach and cleanser spray and it was magic - removed it in seconds. I then washed my hand several times with soap and water and used Gold Bond "Healing" lotion. I did not read caution instructions as the ink had to come off. Hopefully it's okay and I'm happy I have my hand back as it was.

Don't waste time experimenting with a bunch of products. Just use houehold bleach for instant removal of printer ink from your hands. Tried it myself & it works like magic.

After using bleach & ink gone then thoroughly wash hands with soap & water. Apply lotion or cream to hands to protect & restore moisture.

Diluted bleach worked instantly! Shouldve used that first! I tried: goo gone, dawn dish soap, tea tree oil, mineral oil, nail polish remover, hand sanitizer, WD-40, clothes stain remover, tarnex, a degreaser... none of them worked. My bathroom smells like cr@p right now...but my hands are ink free (and a bit dried out)!

I got magenta ink on my leg and glass cleaner worked pretty well to get most of it off, now it just looks like I have a rash where one splotch of ink faintly stayed

Oxyclean works. Pull the stopper on your sink and put a loads worth in and fill half way with water. Then soak your hands and scrub with a brush. Comes right out the first time in about 5 minutes.
