Using Eyelash Yarn

knitting needlesI have been knitting shawls with eyelash yarn and regular yarn backing. They are lovely and fluffy. A white or black one would make a dramatic faux fur stole for a Prom, for about $40 or so, and you have it for other events later! And a knitter could make in front of TV with the simple garter stitch within a week or so!

Eyelash yarn is a yarn that has long, loose "strings" that hang off of the main strand of yarn. Generally it is made from non-natural fibers and is usually used as trim, or occasionally in a simple stitch pattern scarf.
