Tuna Salad Recipes

Ingredients:

• 2 cans white albacore tuna in water, drained
• 1/4 cup celery
• 2 Tbsp red onion
• 2 hard boiled eggs, chopped
• 1/8 tsp dried dill
• 1/8 tsp Dijon mustard
• 1/4 tsp dill pickle relish
• spicy season salt & black pepper.
• 2-3 Tbsp Hellman's Mayonnaise, more if needed
• 1 small cucumber (about 1/4 cup) finely diced
• romaine lettuce

Steps:

1. Using a mixing bowl, flake the canned tuna apart.
2. Chop celery and onion in a food processor.

 

 
3. Add celery, red onion, eggs, dried dill, Dijon mustard, dill pickle relish and seasonings.

4. Then add 2-3 heaping tablespoons of "Hellman's' mayonnaise.
5. After mixing, test taste to see if you need to add more seasoning.
6. Chill well before serving. You can serve this on wheat toast, cut into four small finger sandwiches (removing the crust), or fill a pita bread pocket with a handful of chopped romaine and then tuna salad.
7. I like my tuna salad sitting on top of a bed of broken up romaine lettuce. This makes a delicious lunch or dinner.
