I have a Frigidaire Professional fridge and the top ice maker does not make ice while the bottom one in my freezer works. Any ideas on why this would be happening? The water pressure is fine.
One of the water lines may be clogged.
Once I do all of my troubleshooting things and it won't work, I go for the big guns and call the company. They usually can give me info that works the first time...or tell me if it needs a pro.
I do this because I learned the hard way that sometimes if you do to much with appliances (fridges, washers and dryers are THE WORST) you end up with a way worse problem than you started and double the bill. So my two cents to help is call the company:
Our Frigidaire mf12269drm01 refrigerator worked perfectly till we added RO under the sink. We removed the filter and installed a bypass plug. Water from the door flows good and cold. However the ice maker stopped working altogether.

The name and numbers for your Frigidaire does not show up in the list of refrigerators listed on the Frigidaire website so I was unable to determine the type/model you have. Maybe someone else will have better luck with that.

If it is still under warranty or it was recalled for that issue, you should be able to get it fixed for free.
My ice maker quit making ice. Water is dispensing in front. I replaced the dual water inlet valve. Water is dispensing in front, but still no water in ice maker tray. Manually it makes ice. Why isn't it getting water in the tray? Do I need to replace the micro switch (inlet switch)?

Any luck getting the ice tray to fill? I have same problem and am planning to replace the solenoid valve that you mentioned replacing - to see if it helps send water to the ice tray; The tray arms aren't spinning either to try to spit out whatever would be in the tray ( once ice forms there if I can get water to go there.

The schematic for the unit is probably in a package in the back or bottom of the fridge. If you are relatively handy, you can follow it to end your problem. Of course you should be sure the connections are tight. It may be just that simple.
I installed my icemaker myself and aside from locating the wiring harness, it all came together perfectly. Frigidaire was a little less than helpful in procuring the harness, but I managed to find it on ebay.
The unit is working fine and yours probably will too. Recheck the installation. Good luck.
I have a Frigidaire side by side. I replaced the filter, I replaced the icemaker, I checked the water hose from pump to icemaker all clear, but there is still no ice. Any suggestions?

Make sure the freezer temperature is around zero degrees Fahrenheit. If the refrigerator is operating at the proper temperature, the icemaker or water valve could be defective.
I have a side by side Frigidaire that is about 2 months out of warranty...go figure. I first noticed the water was slowing down and then a few days later I noticed the ice tray was almost empty, but the arm was down to make ice. I checked the water line into the back of the fridge and it had good flow. The filter change indicator never came on, but I changed the filter anyway. I have an under sink RO system so the filter should not need changing anyway. Any ideas?

Need to check inside freezer where water comes into the ice maker. Sometimes they clog up. May pick up a used ice maker and see if it will work.
I just turned on my newly installed ice maker (Frigidaire Gallery), but there was only a short sound of water entering the unit. Do I have to purge the line or something? The unit is getting power and I did observe the fingers slowly rotating. Curious.

Common sense would tell me that if you hired someone to install it, you should contact them about the problem since it is under a warranty. Now if you did the installation yourself call a professional and ask their opinion of what the problem is.
I have a Frigidaire refrigerator, frs23fcdq0. The ice maker makes no ice. The water dispenser shoots water, but no ice. Sometimes it will make a batch, but the ice cubes are half the normal size.

It could be that your water line is frozen. I have had this happen when either my freezer or refrigerator is too packed. It will thaw out eventually, although slowly, if you unpack it a bit (assuming that's the problem).
Or you can try transferring everything to coolers and turn the fridge off for a day to allow the water tubes to thaw out.
I have also heard you can move the fridge away from the wall and heat the tubes up with a hair dryer to try to get the water running freely.
