Decorated Easter Eggs in BasketThis is a good idea if you do not want to stain your hands with food colouring. Put your egg inside the whisk and dip it into a cup, then take it out when your ready. It's also easier for younger ones to handle.

My grandchildren don't care for eggs, but they love lemonade and lemon cookies. Rather than waste eggs, I decorate lemons and hide them for an "Easter Lemon" hunt. This will work with limes and oranges also.

This is making the best of a messy situation, Easter Egg Dye mess. We put old T-shirts on the girls and took the whole mess outside on the patio cement.
