Instead of cooking daily, why not cook in bulk. Items like rice, meat, poultry, lentils and beans can be frozen after it is cooked.
Rice: Cook 2 to 3 kg (about 5 lbs.) rice in plenty of water. When the grain doubles in size, drain in a sieve and cool. Add a little oil so the grain doesn't stick together.
Measure by cups and freeze in zip lock bags. 1 cup basmati rice yields 2 to 3 cups of cooked rice
Poultry and Meat: Marinate 2 to 3 kg (about 5 lbs.) in lemon juice. Cook on low heat until tender and juicy. Cool.
Freeze in zip lock bags as desired. Make 1/2 kg or quarter kg bags as need be.
