It is a simply process, but feels (physically) harder than you'd think. You'll feel like you're going to ruin your shoes, but you won't! Good news is, it is easier to get them back on than off!

I've been searching for an insole to use in Crocs sandals that would enable me to refrain from using hosiery. Found "Dr. Scholl's for her Sport insole," approx. $10, Kroger grocery store. Has a bamboo cloth cover on top. Quite helpful, but I am wondering if there is a better solution out there. "Footsmart" sells boiled wool insoles for this purpose, but as I am allergic to wool (but not in all its forms), I don't want to take any chances.

I have same problem with regular shoes & use foot powder in my shoes (inside top & bottom) to help - I would do that & just use foam pads (with holes).
