I am going to be having a party at my house for my 14th birthday, but the problem is that my house is like one of those units/apartments. I don't have much space like my other friends and I am worried that they are gonna think my party is lame because of my house.
If you live in an apartment, is there a community pool for the apartment complexes you can use to have a pool party perhaps?
A true friend will appreciate you for you, not your large house or apartment.
That being said, you don't need a lot of room to rent a movie and have a sleepover with sleeping bags.
You can serve food buffet style. You can have it picnic style on the floor.
Can you have it at another location? Such as a park, or do a volunteer project for your party? Such as movie and then help at a shelter, or paint at a habitat house or something of that nature?
I have learned that the cozier a place is, the more fun people actually have. Large spaces actually separate people. That being said, games always produce good results. Also, make a theme party where you ask guests to wear a certain something if they can.
I have a tiny place and I used to be worried people would feel cramped but I filled it up with love and make sure I'm a good hostess and that's all that matters. Make sure you're welcoming and gracious and have lots of fun with everyone. Tell everyone to bring their iPods or mobile devices and let everyone plug into a speaker and take turns playing music so they all feel at home (and learn about new tunes!)

What about going swimming at a hotel pool? Movie, bowling, board games...

I am turning 14 in October, even though it's far away "my mom likes to plan early.". I will invite boys and girls, probably there will be a lot of people, I live in a apartment so no basement and I cannot do outdoor things, the pool will be closed, my neighborhood is like kinda not good so nothing at home and it can't be too expensive. Any ideas please? I need help and not too girly please.

A party at a nearby skate rink? Those are not usually too expensive, they have group rates, and it is out of the house. You could bring a cake and refreshments. Happy early birthday!
