Okay, I'm turning 16 in November. But, having a party requires inviting the people I call friends who in the end will not show up and put my parents out a butt load of money. I want to do something with 5 or 6 people that is Halloweenish (apparently that's not a word). Haunted houses are a bore though. I have drawn a complete blank and my parents want me to figure out what I'm doing. Please help?

Hi Alexis! Just a thought about your birthday coming up! If your into the Twilight Saga then you can find great ideas related to that online or just create from ur own perspective. I hope this inspires you for your "halloweenish" birthday! Have a great day! <3
Maybe you could base the party on a popular movie that you like.
Do you have any favorite activities you used to do for Fall time like bobbing for apples or other such games, maybe you could arrange to have a hay ride or go to a special place that features a theme that you like.
Have a Happy Birthday!
Blessings,
Robyn from Tennessee
First off, let me just say how nice it is that at your young age, you thought of your parents and how much money they would/could spend. That said, I like the other ideas a lot. You could also add to that a King or Koontz novel you all like, if relevant, and/or have a costume contest. I hope you have a great one whatever you decide.

Research in your area and go to an actual haunted destination. I don't know where you are located, like I'm in Pittsburgh and we have actual walking tours of the city that take you to places rumored to actually be haunted.
If you come up with something please let me know! I'm in he same boat for a October 29th birthday!
Ooh, I just had a thought, what about a limo/bus and a driving tour of the haunted houses in your area. We are in Denver and there is a lot and then a sleepover with scary movies!
Ok my birthday is October 23rd I have one friend and that's only because I just moved to the states I have never had a party from the time I made 10 so I don't know what to do for my sweet sixteen sense I don't have any money to spend and any friends.
Having a special party for a girl's 16th birthday is a fun tradition for many families but it doesn't require a large guest list. Plan a memorable party with just a few close friends and family.
My daughter's sweet 16 party is less than a month away. She has invited about 23 guests who all have very different personalities. She is a very active person and wants the party to reflect her, although in the past some of her less active friends did not participate which caused the others to not as well.
We are going to have it at the bay, but do not know what games to play. We are going to set up a badminton/volleyball net and have a bonfire around 7. But she has invited the guests from 2-10. She also wants a theme, but doesn't know how to put up decorations in a place where there is nowhere to hang anything up, as well as what decorations to use. She is also afraid of embarrassment if she picks a theme like Alice in Wonderland because of the way some of her friends are.
We also can not spend a lot of money, and do not want a chill party, but would prefer one where everyone is active. The music and food is the easiest part. Please help if you have any ideas for themes, games, or any other ways to entertain a bunch of teenagers who all have very different personalities.
Thank you.
This page contains December sweet 16 party ideas. Here are some great ideas for incorporating the beauty of the winter season into your sweet 16 party theme.
My birthday is in December, and my mom has been bothering me about what I want to do. I couldn't care less about my birthday, having people that I'm obligated to entertain is physically tiring.
Is there anything I can do that can be fun?
I live in Florida and the weather can be bipolar. So I don't know what to do, I don't care about my birthday, I mainly just want to hang out with friends and I feel like there should be more to that. So... help?
I am Zach Lau and I'm turning 16 next month. I was wondering if you can give me any ideas for my party because I want it to be the best that no one will ever forget.
I am turning sixteen in the beginning of September. My mom is completely against having a large party, so I am thinking to save up and then approach her about it when I have the money to pay.
However, I have no idea what to do for my party. Plus, I have closer friends where I live now, but most live hundreds of miles away :( as I moved here recently. Help! It's hard to have a party with absentee friends. Maybe you want to save for a video conference with all of them?
You can also concentrate on making a friend or two locally, and inviting them to a movie or pizza.
My sweet sixteen is in January and I'm gonna invite twenty or so people. I'm not big on dressing up and all that. I wanted to have a bonfire party thing, but it'll be winter so it might not work.
I'm really on a low budget since I'll be paying for it myself. Any ideas will help!Twenty people is a lot, especially on a sixteen-year-old's budget! Could you ask your friends to share expenses , a Dutch treat where they pay their own way? If you choose an activity like paint-balling (only a suggestion!) and are bringing a party of about 20, you should get a substantial discount. Similarly with food - a nice café expecting 20 people for a birthday should be able to give you a good deal. If you each pay your own expenses the outlay should be minimal.
Think what your friends like best - music and dancing? doing each others makeup? Film and popcorn/pizza? We recently had a cupcake party where everyone could unleash their creative talents with icing on plain cakes and those who weren't creative just ate them. Think of unusual games to play like getting a poster of your favourite heartthrob and see who can get nearest to kissing him/her on the lips while blindfolded or seeing who can eat the most maltesers/whoppers with a knife and fork in 30 seconds.
I turned 16 3 days ago and I decided to have a low budget party with 12 people in the park. I brought them a soccer ball, Frisby and a wobble bubble to play with. For the food we will eat costco pizza cupcakes and Cinimun roles. So that is what I am doing. Since itis winter and I can't go to the beach
My 16th birthday is coming up and I can't spend a lot of money on it. I live in a 2 bed room apartment and don't have room to do it there.
Are there any cheap places inside I could have my birthday party? So my birthday is in late October and for my party I'm taking around 8 friends to lunch or dinner and then 3 of my closest friends are sleeping over after, but I need ideas on what to do in between with all 8 of my friends attending. The only problem is I can't take them to my house because I just recently moved 40 minutes away.
So I need ideas on things to do after lunch or dinner in New Jersey, not too expensive. BTW the lunch/dinner may be in NYC so if you have any ideas for things to do in the city please share. Thank you!
