When transporting fishing poles to your fishing spot, you can keep the fishing hooks and lures from catching into something you don't want them too. Get a bottle cork and cut it in half or thirds. Now you can stick the hooks or fishing lures into the cork. That way, you won't snag anything other than your fish when you get to your fishing spot. This really works!

My husband uses a tool box for his fishing items. One is small and he carries it with him. The other is HUGE and holds racks and racks of things, including his fly tying kit. The boxes inside the toolbox are divided into smaller adjustable spaces. Works for us!
Something you can use to organanize multiple spools of fishing line is to put them in a small coffee can. We took it 1 step further and drilled holes in the sides of the can and then threaded the line through the holes.
