Cleaning a Wood Cutting Board

Wood Cutting Board against a white backgroundI use baking soda and/or vinegar to clean my cutting board. Occasionally I oil it with cooking oil. I have used the same hand made wooden cutting board for over 40 years, and it is still in good condition.

If your wooden cutting board is smelling strong after cutting up onions or garlic, moisten a paper towel or rag with white vinegar and wipe it clean.
