My Aunt was a great cook. We all loved her desserts as well as her Thanksgiving dinners and home made waffles, strawberry jam, and apple butter - just to name a few favorites from my childhood.;-)
Melt chocolate over hot water.
Blend in sugar and 1/2 cup whipping creme
Cook until smooth, stirring constantly
Pour hot chocolate mixture over the egg yolks, beat until blended and thickened
Cool, fold in remaining 1/2 cup whipped creme.

Add 1 heaping Tbsp. cocoa powder, 1 - 2 Tbsp. corn starch (depending upon how thick you want it to be) and 2 Tbsp. powdered sugar to powder of a chocolate pudding mix.
Prepare mousse with the milk according to package directions. Refrigerate 1 hour or place in freezer 30 minutes or until set. Unroll cake, fill with mousse and reroll.
Mix and melt the margarine and chocolate. Allow to cool. Combine powdered sugar, egg yolks, and vanilla. Fold in beaten egg whites.
