What kind of Husky is my dog? I recently adopted Zoey, she is said to be one and half years old. But, I am convinced she is younger by her looks and the way she acts. Many people have said she doesn't look like pure bred Siberian Husky. Some have said maybe she has some wolf in her.

Are there local breeders around that breed hybrids?
I have seen MANY huskies and own a hybrid/husky. They all look different. Some have short hair, some have more hair than others. It depends. She looks like she could be full blooded husky and she also could have wolf in her.
My hybrid is 30% white artic/timberwolf and 70% Siberian husky! No one knows she is a hybrid. And for the record, she gets all the same vacines any other dog gets and she does not react any differently towards them. The vet knows she is a hybrid. The vaccine thing in just a rumor. There is nothing that proves that vaccines react any differently in hybrids to other dogs.
I included a pic of my puppy for comparison! She was born August 2008!
What breed of Husky is my dog? She is noted as an Alaskan Husky, but the majority of the photos I have seen of Alaskans do not look like the love of my life. If anyone can advise, please do.
I've got a Husky puppy, but I have no clue what kind she is. When I got her all the owner said was she's a Husky around 3 months old. So can anyone tell me what she is?

I would love to know what breed my baby is. He's name is Blue and he's going on 7 months. I got him when he was only 4 weeks old.
The family before me said that his mom was Siberian and his dad was Alaskan.I got him when he was 3 months old. I just want to know what kind of Husky he is so I can know better how to deal with him.
My daughter has a Siberian Husky that looks exactly like your dog. I do believe he is a Siberian Husky and he is beautiful. The dog my daughter has is a handful and it needs to have a large place to run and she needs to take him out 3 to 4 times a day for walks. They are very active dogs and need to exert a lot of energy when they are out running around.
What a devious look! He must be planning something!!
Beautiful dog - may not be purebred Siberian Husky - but probably close.
Your vet can help with this question but not as to whether he is purebred as only a DNA test can pinpoint breeds and mix of other breeds.
DNA tests are popular and can be purchased online, pet stores and vets. The cost usually runs $40 - several hundred dollars - priced according to how extensive a search you want.
Huskies are very big eaters and need loads of exercise. Best to have a large outdoor area and/or lots of time to take to parks and on long walks.
Interesting article...
Here is an excellent site for learning about his everyday care:

Please be sure he is seeing a vet for his shots/vaccinations.
I would like to know what kind of Husky my puppy is. She is about to turn two years old! I also feel like if I know I will be able to care for her better!

What kind is he? They said he is a Husky, but I don't know what sort?
Supposedly he is 8 months old, but my friend's is the same age and taller with a longer snout. Mine is smaller, looks younger, and has a short nose.
What kind of Husky do I have because I can't figure him out.
I'm not sure what breed she is since her fur has a lot of colors, especially on her back. Her eyes seem to be light brown and she's not fully grown yet, but I would like to know what she'll be like when she's bigger.
Can anyone tell what type of Huskies my dogs are? I'd love to know.
Thank you.
This is my 7 month old pup Preston. I got him from a lady through a friend at work. She said he was just a "Husky " and I was wondering what kind he is. Thanks!
